A native fisherman since childhood he loved the sea and the art of fishing. Toti will be your guide and he will make this tour unforgettable as you learn the best fishing spots in the national park.
You will leave at the same hour as the native fisherman Taganga leave, around 5:30 am because it is the time where the fish are easiest to catch, you will head out into open sea within the area of the Tayrona national park about 40 minutes from Taganga, towards the only island located in the Tayrona park, Needle Island whos name comes from the formation having the mountain.
You will be provded with all the fishing gear you will need, different types of bait, and learn the techniques required.
Bring a coolbox with ice to store your soft drinks and beer, and later to store your fish.
You will make 3 stops during your trip. The first at 10 am for an aperitif before lunch. The second on a beach where you will take your lunch with, and experience a little of the daily life of, local fishermen at around 12:00pm. The third and final stop will be around 3pm to take a refreshment.
In the fishing areas large fish such as marlin (swordfish), cojinoas, tuna and snapper are generally found.
The fishing takes place in open sea and the boat will always be in motion therefore is not recommended for people who suffer from sea sickness.
